Rate of application
The volume of Kanolacide Oil required is relative and in equal parts to the amount of chemical to be applied. Not the volume of water.
The following rates of Kanolacide are a guide
Hand Gun. Use 10-20ml in 10 litres of water
Orchard. Use 10-15ml in 10 litres of water
Vegetables. Use 10-15ml in 10 litres of water
Nurseries. Use 10-15ml in 10 litre of water
Glass House. Use 5-10ml in 10 litre of water
Knapsack. Use 20ml in 10 litre of water
General Instructions - Mixing
1. Kanolacide MUST ALWAYS BE PRE-MIXED with the plant protection product before adding to the water in the spray tank.
2. One third fill spray tank with water and add the emulsion of plant protection product.
3. Complete by filling up the spray tank with water maintaining constant agitation
Pre-Mixing Liquids
Put the calculated quantity of Kanolacide into a mixing container, add the plant protection product and mix until emulsion is formed
Pre-Mixing Wettable Powders or Water Dispersible Granules
Put the plant protection product into a mixing container, add as little water as possible until a paste is formed. Then add the correct quantity of Kanolacide and mix until an emulsion is formed
Pre-Mixing tank mixes of more than one plant protection product
If there is more than one plant protection product in the tank mix, ensure that each plant protection product is separately mixed with the Kanolacide until an emulsion is formed
Crop Tolerance
Although Kanolacide will not alter the nature of the plant protection product carried, it can improve efficiency of deposition and plant uptake. TEST AREA MUST BE SPRAYED before using Kanolacide with plant protection products that the user has not used before when spraying new crops or varities
DO NOT USE Kanolacide with plant protection products during periods of high temperatures or when temperatures may become high during periods of high light intensity.
